Overview: The use of multimedia communications is becoming more vital as organizations continuously expand physically and virtually. This course will help entry and mid-level professionals utilize the best methods of technology to convey their messages, conduct presentations, and manage daily operations. With the onslaught of new technologies that are being used within organizations, it is very easy to choose ineffective ways to reach your audience that are expensive and cumbersome. This course will help professionals choose the best visual communication technologies and strategies (video streaming, video chat, webinars, videoconferencing, etc.) as they work towards becoming leaders in their profession and/or great attributes to their organizations. There will be eight sessions that will define and describe the technologies and how they are used to make a powerful impact on establishing valuable relationships internally and externally. By the end of the course, students will know how to construct definitive communication strategies that coincide with their working environments.
